Regional Federal Credit Union, operating in northwest Indiana, USA, has chosen Sharetec as its core processing partner to modernize its tech stack and ensure stability for future growth. The credit union will deploy Sharetec’s web-based Velocity solution to replace its existing in-house core system. Utilizing Velocity, Regional will improve back-office operations and integrate third-party fintech solutions through its open API.
The partnership with Sharetec will enable Regional to offer members in Hammond, Portage, Valparaiso, and Winfield a range of new digital services, including recurring payments, online banking, personal financial management, and remote deposits and signatures. Jill Banning, president and CEO of Regional, anticipates improved system processes, enhanced security, and better backup solutions from Sharetec’s offering.
Established in 1961, Regional Federal Credit Union provides various products and services such as savings and current accounts, mortgages, credit cards, loans, investments, and business services. The credit union joins other institutions, including Oshkosh Community Credit Union, in partnering with Sharetec for core technology solutions.
